3rd Home Game...WE WON!!

I know, I know...you are probably getting tired of seeing the same boring football game pictures over and over again, but that's the only thing I have been taking pictures of lately! Anyway, we won our home game today 35-10! I was on t.v for it too!!! It was fun, and it was the perfect day outside for a football game, low 70s and sunny. I tried to do the chip flip today to get a video, but the cheerleader lied to me and said they had enough people already right before she asked 2 others to go do it. I was kinda upset....but maybe next time!

Oh yeah...and after the game I went out to eat with Andrew and a few others, and then we went to Dairy Queen. At Dairy Queen we somehow ended up measuring our arm span versus our height between the car and this post...here is a pic if you are confused about what I am talking about. It was funny to say the least!

Another fish died today....sad, but true. We only have 1 left, but he is 1 of the original 3! He is a tough cookie! We are hoping that he lives for awhile. I'll let you know how he holds out...

So, just as an update on my fish (like you really care that much right?) the crazy one that was flipping upside down and stuff died today. We just flushed him and are gonna try to keep the other 2 fish alive! haha. I will keep you posted!

2nd Home Game-Family Day

On Saturday we had our second home football game of the season. It was also family day, so my mom and dad come up to visit! Unfortunately, CMU didn't do so well and we lost 44-14. The game was kinda boring, but it was fun anyway!

On another note, 2 of the 3 fish died on Sunday :( However, wal-mart has a 90 day guarantee so we just went back and got 2 more for free. These ones are doing good so far, although one of them seems to have some sort of problem because he always is vertical and flipped over, but he is still alive...it's weird! I will keep you updated on how these ones do...

Fishies!!!!!

Today me, Erin, and Ashley went out to buy ourselves some new pets! We got 3 fairytale fish....which are kinda like big goldfish and kinda not. We decided to name them after the 3 main boy characters in High School Musical. The gold one is Troy because he is the main character and the gold star of the movie. The spotted one is Ryan because he always wears a lot of different outfits and hats in the movies. The black one is Chad because he is cool and slick and always has on spiffy shirts that he made in the movies (and no, we aren't racist, haha). So those are the new edition to our apartment!

HSM 2 Poster

Today I went to Wal-Mart to get a few things and I saw the High School Musical 2 poster for only $4.47 so I bought it! I am pretty excited about it, so naturally, I took some pictures and thought I would share my joy with whoever looks at this blog. Have a good day!

First home football game of the season!

As I wrote in my last post, we had our first home football game last night and our team won 52-31!!! It was a great game! I of course did Chip Crew again, which would be the crazy people that paint letters on their stomachs and stay like that the whole game regardless of the temperature. :) It really is fun...even when it is freezing cold! Luckily, the weather last night was perfect and it didn't get that cold at all. Because of such a high score, I got a big workout too. Everytime our team scores, Chip Crew does 1 pushup for each point we have. By the time we reached 52, we had done over 200 pushups!!

During the third quarter our guy cheerleaders do a thing called the Chip Flip where they take people from the crowd and basically flip them. I guess it is kinda hard to explain...but I got to do that last night too! It is probably about the 7th time that I have gotten to do it, which is cool. I'm hoping next time to get a picture or video of it, so keep checking my blog for that. Here's a few shots of what I do during our football games...

Fire Up Fest/Wares Fair

On Thursday CMU had an event called Fire Up Fest/Wares Fair. What this is a combination of what used to be 2 separate events. Fire Up Fest takes place in the footbal stadium and it basically exists to get people "fired up" for our first home football game. The cheerleaders teach everyone different cheers and the different little traditions that we do at our games. It is really fun. Wares Fair is an event where all the different stores in Mt. Pleasant come to advertise their business and they give out a ton of free stuff and food. Here are just a few pics, but I forgot my camera, so these are the pictures that my roommate Erin took.

P.S. The first home game was actually tonight and we won 52-31!!! It was an intense game...but I will post pics and info about that tomorrow since it is pretty late and I need to get some sleep :)
