Mainstage...back to school...

The day before school starts, CMU has a thing called Mainstage, where all the school organizations have a table set up and give out free stuff and tell you about their organizations/clubs. It is a good way for incoming freshmen to see what groups they can join on campus...not to mention getting a ton of free stuff!!!! At the end, there is a free concert too. This year the concert was Mat Kearney. Here are some pics of the day...

Happy "official" 1 year! (August 14th)

So I am 2 days late with this post, but better late than never...

On August 14th it was mine and Matt's "official" 1 year! Unfortunately we weren't able to be together for it because he had to head back to school, but he sent me some beautiful flowers...and dark chocolate m&ms! Here are some pics of the flowers he sent. There were 2 roses and about 8 stargazer lilies (6 of which weren't even open yet).


When I first got them on the 14th, 2 lilies were open...




Then 3 were open on the 15th...



And then 4 were open today...





A little more than a year ago...

We met on our Spring Break mission trip called Beach Reach in Panama City Beach, FL....




And now...

We have been "officially" dating for a year and look forward to many years to come!

We went camping with the Wegescheide family (Missouri Matt's family) this past week. It was the first time our families met and they hit it off great!!! We climbed sand dunes, went boating, did some water skiing, some kneeboarding, and some tubing. We all had a fantastic time and the week just flew by...unfortunately

Amanda's Wedding

On August 4, 2007 my best friend Amanda got married!!!! I was a bridesmaid in the wedding and everything went very well. Aunt Karen was the photographer too! (These aren't her pics though, they are mine). This was the first of many weddings for my friends...
