My 21st Birthday

Yep, I am 21 now!!! I know I am a little delayed in getting these pictures up here, but I kinda forgot I had a new camera (I got one from the Wegescheide family for my b-day). ON my actual birthday I went to a graduation party and they gave me a jello shot. Then my family went out to Applebees and my daddy bought me my first alcoholic drink. I got a bahama mama. It was pretty good...very fruity. The day after my birthday I had a bunch of friends from school over and we went swimming, played volleyball, had a bbq, and hung out. It was a double birthday party for me and one of my friends and also a going away party for my friend Mike because he was leaving for basic training. I'm a huge fan of the movie High School Musical, along with some of my friends from school, so of course, I had to make a High School Musical cake to match the cool plates that I got!

Party at the Lighthouse!

Last night was my last night in Mt. Pleasant for the summer and we had a party at the Lighthouse (one of the womens' houses for His House-church). It was a lot of fun and we had a lot of food, including a chocolate fountain!!!

It's been awhile!

I know it has been over 2 weeks since I made a post, and that is mainly due to the fact that my camera is officially broken. Missouri Matt was also here for the past week and a half and I was busy hanging out with him, going to class, doing homework, and working. Anyway, I have finally gotten around to making a post of the past week or so, so enjoy! There are only pics of the things that other people took pictures of since I don't have a camera....


The day after Matt got here, we went tubing down the Chippewa River with a group of about 20 people from His House. It was really fun!!





We had 3 squirt guns that came with us down the river...that made for some fun water wars

After tubing, we had a big bbq at the men's house with burgers, corn on the cob, and so much more!

On Monday, Mike came to visit on his day off from Spring Hill. We hung out with him and he came over and did laundry at my apartment.

One day for lunch, me and Matt decided to go to Buffalo Wild Wings

We got boneless chicken wings because it was boneless Thursday which means they were cheaper then usual. We also got chili cheese fries.

still no pictures

I have come to the conclusion that the lens on my camera is jammed (which apparently is a common problem with digital cameras) but it costs almost as much as a new camera to fix it...so....I am gonna see if my daddy can fix it, and if not, it looks like I am gonna have to buy myself a new camera. Until then, no pictures. Sorry! However, Matt (boyfriend) will be here this Saturday and he has a camera, so I will probably have some pictures from him that I can post up here.

Other than that, my second summer class ends on Wednesday and then I only have one class left till I can be done for the summer! WOO HOO!! And like I said, Matt comes on Saturday so of course I am stoked for that! He will be here until July 3rd, so we get a little over a week together. Unfortunately, I have to have class from 9-12:20 Monday-Friday when he is here. Oh well...better to see him part of the day than not have him here at all! :) That's about it for now...so until the next post...adios!

P.S. To anyone going to Matt's (brother) graduation party on the 30th, me and bf Matt will be there so I can see you then!

broken camera :(

My digital camera is not working at the current moment and I'm not exactly sure why. I think the battery is just old, so I ordered a new one. However, this means there will be no pics posted for about a week unless they are pics taken by others that I have gotten. I am highly sad about this because this past weekend has been a lot of fun with my friends and I would have some really fun pictures to put up. I will write about the weekend in a post later tonight or tomorrow after I am done working at the ranch today (more about that in the next post too) So yep, that's it!

class...work...class...work....

Ok, so this week and next week is pretty much going to be me going to class Monday and Wednesday and working at night most nights during the week. I don't know if I will be doing all that much that involves picture taking, so just a heads up that I might not have anything exciting to look at for a little while. I might have some pictures on Sunday though if I help work at a ranch with my church. If I do, I'll put them up here. Until then, here are some pictures of what I will be doing this week...yes, thats right, working at Bob Evans.

Oh...and Missouri Matt is finally at all his camps now with his traveling drama group called New Edition, which is very sad for me cause not only can I not see him, but I can't talk to him now either. I might get to on the weekend, but thats about it. It's rather sad...I miss him...

Desk Moving...

Amanda got back from Mexico and had to finish moving the big stuff out of her room like her desk and bed. We had an interesting time getting her desk down our stairs! Here's how it went...
